first_imgBack to overview,Home naval-today Nigerian Navy’s ENC Takes Delivery of New Vessel View post tag: DELIVERY View post tag: Nigerian Navy Authorities Nigerian Navy’s Eastern Naval Command, ENC, has recently expanded its fleet with a new P18N offshore patrol vessel (OPV).The Navy took delivery of the new vessel, named NNS Centenary (F91), on Friday in Calabar, according to DailyPost Nigeria.With this vessel the Nigerian Navy will further reinforce its presence in the country’s eastern maritime area, keeping the waters safe from oil thieves and pirates.NNS Centenary has the capability to carry helicopters and can stay at sea for two weeks. The vessel was commissioned in February 2015, along with three other warships.
