The opening this morning will be carried on National Radio and among the topics over the two days are: The Importance of Good Governance; The Role Of Accounting Officers; The Roles of the National Audit Office, Public Accounts Committee, Internal Audit Department and the Audit Committee; PAC Hearings; How To Prepare for PAC Hearings; The Role of Parliament in Financial Oversight and Curbing Corruption. There will be a period for Feedback and Questions. The workshop will conclude with a mock hearing. This Public Accounts Committee workshop is funded by the Governor’s Office.
